GMobility Keeps Gippsland Running Over the Holidays
As the year winds down and the festive season approaches, the GMobility team is busier than ever helping people stay mobile, comfortable, and connected with loved ones.
According to our Customer Service and Retail Operations Manager Katie and our HR & Quality Coordinator Teigan, the lead-up to Christmas is all about making sure every customer has what they need before the new year. “We often see an uptick in rentals for families coming to stay over the holiday period,” they shared.
A Time of Teamwork and Connection
The GMobility team embraces the holiday rush with teamwork, communication, and a festive spirit. “We focus on open communication and go above and beyond to get everything out,” they said. The season also brings moments of fun and connection within the team, from decorating the showrooms to celebrating together at the Christmas party.

Keeping Equipment in Top Shape
For the Service Department, the weeks before Christmas bring a wave of requests to make sure equipment is working safely and reliably through the holidays. Service Technician Ben Rosser shared, “I mostly get service requests leading into the holidays to make sure the equipment is in good working order.” This preparation helps ensure that clients can enjoy time with family without disruption or worry.

Supporting the Community When It Matters Most
The weeks leading up to Christmas often bring a surge in rental requests, particularly for equipment that helps families reunite at home. To make sure everyone receives the support they need, GMobility stays open at a limited capacity on non-public holidays, ready to assist with urgent jobs and last-minute needs.
“It’s a proud feeling to be able to support the community,” Katie said. “It’s a time of giving and being grateful, and it’s lovely to see so many families using our rental fleet year after year to help their loved ones stay comfortable and independent during the holidays.”
Holiday Hours and Support
GMobility will be taking a short break over Christmas, with limited trading between the holidays.
Half Day: December 24, closing at 12pm
Open: 29th–31st December, 10am–2pm (limited staff and emergency deliveries only)
Closed: December 25th–26th and 1st January
Regular hours resume: 2nd January 2026
